Formed by renowned baritone and period music specialist Peter Harvey in 2008, the Magdalena Consort brings together internationally renowned singers and instrumentalists in a committed approach, which generates fresh responses to familiar and unfamiliar repertoire alike.     They have performed at prestigious festivals throughout Europe including concerts at the Cheltenham Festival, Festival of Santiago de Compostela and in the Bach town of Arnstadt for the MDR Sommermusik Festival. Alongside Peter Harvey, guest soloists have included Robin Blaze, Julia Doyle, James Gilchrist, Gillian Keith and Daniel Taylor.
