British baritone Tom Mole is currently studying with John Evans on the Opera Course at Guildhall School of Music & Drama where he recently gained BMus in Vocal Studies.
This season Tom will sing the roles of Sprecher Die Zauberflöte, Barone di Trombonok Il Viaggio a Rheims and Hotel Manager Powder Her Face at the Guildhall.
On the concert platform Tom performs Duruflé Requiem with St Mary Magdalene Music Society and later with the East London Chorus before joining Dorking Choral Society for a performance of the Brahms Requiem. The artist travels to Dorchester Abbey for performances of the Messiah and he makes his Queen Elizabeth Hall debut as he joins Goldsmiths Choral Union in Bellini’s Messa di Gloria and Rossini’s Stabat Mater.
Last season Tom had great success in the role of Alidoro La Cenerentola with British Youth Opera. He also made his Opera Holland Park debut in the Young Artist’s performance of Un Ballo in Maschera in the role of Count Horn.
Recent highlights include appearances with British Youth Opera as Madhouse Innkeeper while covering Nick Shadow The Rake’s Progress conducted by Lionel Friend. Tom also sang the role of Dr. Pangloss at the BYO’s Gala performance of Candide.
