Christopher Ainslie wins Gianni Bergamo Award

Countertenor Christopher Ainslie has confirmed his place as one of the most exciting countertenors of his generation by winning the GIANNI BERGAMO CLASSIC MUSIC AWARD 2011.

The 2011 award brought together many of the world’s finest young countertenors, and Christopher Ainslie came through as the clear winner to take the EURO 10,000 first prize.
