‘The unstoppable talent of Mahan Esfahani’: Early Music Today interview

Featured on the front cover of Early Music Today, Mahan Esfahani is described as ‘taking the world by storm with his astonishing keyboard skills’ and achieving ‘extraordinary things as a performer’. His interviewer Andrew Stewart is equally impressed, however, with Mahan’s ‘clear understanding and strikingly mature wisdom’ in his approach to early music, stating that ‘Mahan Esfahani stands for a generation of young musicians increasingly opposed to vanilla-flavoured performances’.
