23 December 2011
Following a performance of “luminous quality” at Wigmore Hall in early 2011, Antonio Meneses and Maria João Pires return to the venue on 3 January 2012 for an eagerly anticipated recital. They will be playing Schubert’s Arpeggione Sonata In A Minor, Brahms’s Three Intermezzi and his Cello Sonata No 1 In E Minor, plus Mendelssohn’s Song Without Words.
