David Alegret debuts at the Rossini Opera Festival, Pesaro

07 August 2012

David Alegret will make his debut at the prestigious Pesaro Rossini Opera Festival this month when he sings the lead tenor role of Florville in a new production of Il Signor Bruschino under the baton of Danielle Rustioni at the Teatro Rossini.  Performances are on August 12, 15, 18 and 21, and more information can be found here.

Established in 1980, the Rossini Opera Festival has been instrumental in reviving many of the composer’s lesser-known works, as well as performing the more famous ones, and in doing so has attracted many of the world’s greatest singers.

With notable appearances already in Vienna, Brussels and Rome, the invitation to perform in Pesaro confirms David’s position as one of the most important Rossini tenors of his generation.
