Peter Bronder - debut at Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin under Barenboim

Tenor Peter Bronder made a highly successful house debut at Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin under Daniel Barenboim on Wednesday 3 October singing Mime in Siegfried in a new production by Guy Cassiers. His performance met with great acclaim and Fiona Maddocks in The Observer writes that Bronder “excelled” in his role.

Following three performances in Berlin, the production is to be staged at La Scala Milan later this month, after which, Peter Bronder returns for complete Ring cycles in both Berlin and Milan during the 2013 season.
