Sixty-three years after making his debut at the Bolshoi Theatre, Gennady Rozhdestvensky has been asked to return again this season to conduct performances of ‘The Tsar’s Bride’ on February 22nd, 23rd and 25th in place of Vassily Sinaisky who recently resigned his position as Chief Conductor.
Rozhdestvensky has served as Chief Conductor in two previous periods as well as Artistic Director at the Bolshoi.
