Federico Colli makes ‘breathtaking’ debut with Santa Cecilia

Congratulations to Federico Colli who made a sensational debut with the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia under the baton of Juraj Valčuha at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome on Saturday 30 April 2016, performing Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No 3. Two sold-out repeat performances followed on 2 and 3 May 2016, met by standing ovations from the audience and praise from the critics:

Federico Colli recently made notable debuts with the BBC Symphony Orchestra under Sakari Oramo at the Barbican Hall, London; the Royal Scottish National Orchestra under Thomas Søndergård at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and Usher Hall, Edinburgh; the Janaček Philharmonic Orchestra under Case Scaglione at the Allegretto Žilina Festival in Slovakia; and with the Philharmonie Zuidnederland under Ed Spanjaard at the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam.

Federico will make his debut with the Philharmonia Orchestra on 30 September 2016 with Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No. 2 and will return to the prestigious International Piano Series in London on 20 October 2016 for a recital including Mussorgsky Pictures at an Exhibition – you can find details of the full programme here.
