Navarra String Quartet awarded the 2017 Dutch Kersjes Prize and Scholarship

The annual Kersjesprijs will be awarded to the Navarra String Quartet on 2 December 2017 in the Royal Concertgebouw, Amsterdam. The prize, worth €50,000, has been awarded to an exceptional Dutch chamber artist for the past 17 years. It was established by Dutch conductor Anton Kersjes. 

The Kersjes Fund described how 'the Quartet qualified for the prize for outstanding talent through an intense and poetic performance with an exceptionally wide spectrum of colour and dynamics.'
