On Friday 6 September, vocal ensemble EXAUDI joined the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra to kick off their 19-20 season under the baton of Susanna Mälkki.
The concert explored works by Gesualdo, Stravinsky and Sibelius, concluding with a performance of Berio's 'Sinfonia for Eight Solo Voices and Orchestra'. This "kaleidoscope of musical pasts and presents" (The Guardian) is built on the themes of water and death. You can read more about the concert here.
