Composed through feeling the living energy of the space, ‘Turning Tides’ uses orchestral manipulation to create new forms of live electronic sound. The dynamic work uses her recent spatial composition ‘Opus Infinity’ and New Forms (2019) LP as the source material, resulting in a continuous state of motion and transformation of her own material through time and place.
Shiva will be premiering her new composition 'The Torus of Revolution' at Hellerau Arts Centre in Germany on November the 6th. It will be the very first from her new Liquid Architecture Series: Sonic Sculpture in Motion: A series of highly immersive solo live electronic works that utilize state-of-the-art 360 degree ambisonic technology.
