Another offering from the Bach Collegium Japan cantatas project collects great reviews for Robin Blaze from BBC Music Magazine and from The Gramophone, whose Jonathan Freeman-Attwood writes that “no one could convey the gallant sweetness of the alto aria, “Du Herr, du krönst allein” with more “unction and blessing” (to quote the translation here) than Robin Blaze.”
