Andrew Radley makes debut at Den Jyske Opera

3 September 2013

Countertenor Andrew Radley has made his house debut with Den Jyske Opera at the Musikhuset in Aarhus, singing the title role in the world premiere of Thomas Agerfeldt Olesen’s adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray. Directed by Marie Brolin-Tani and conducted by Joachim Gustafsson, the opera combines singing and dance. Also choreographing the production, Brolin-Tani explains that this is done “in a way which allows the dancers to be a physical extension of opera singers’ voices”.
