Natalie Clein inspires young musicians in Singapore

26 November 2014

Natalie Clein has been showing her commitment to supporting young musicians recently as she joined forces with the Singapore National Youth Orchestra over the past 10 days. Alongside rehearsing for her concert tomorrow night in which she and the orchestra will perform Camille Saint-Saëns’s first cello concerto at the Esplanade in Singapore, Natalie has also been giving one-to-one master-classes and lecture recitals to several lucky young cellists and instrumentalists.

Natalie is committed to furthering projects which aim to encourage and inspire young musicians and between now and April she gives master-classes at the Birmingham Conservatoire, the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Music at Oxford and at the West Cork Music Festival in which she will cover a wide range of cello music from Beethoven to Bridge.

Furthermore, Natalie will be performing Antonín Dvořák’s cello concerto with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra next May to help raise funds for the orchestra’s benevolent fund.
