New artist: conductor Dane Lam

Rayfield Allied is delighted to welcome conductor Dane Lam to our roster for General Management.

Dane is currently conducting a new production of Così fan tutte at Opera Holland Park to critical acclaim, returning to the company where he previously conducted numerous operas, including La cenerentola, Don Giovanni and Norma.

Recent and upcoming engagements also include La traviata for Scottish Opera, Giulio Cesare with Bury Court Opera and Norma with Chelsea Opera Group. On the concert platform, current collaborators include Het Residentie Orkest as well as the Queensland, Western Australia and Canberra Symphony Orchestras, alongside a full season of concerts with the Xi’an Symphony Orchestra in China, where he is Principal Conductor and Artistic Director.

Dane has also appeared at Opera Queensland and with orchestras including the Adelaide and Beijing Symphony Orchestras, Münchner Rundfunkorchester, Beethoven Orchester Bonn and Verbier Festival Orchestra.

Dane was nominated as “Best Newcomer” in the International Opera Awards 2018.
