Rayfield Allied is delighted to welcome conductor Thomas Blunt to our roster for General Management.
Thomas has conducted on the Glyndebourne Tour, for Welsh National Opera, Konzert Theater Bern, Opéra national du Rhin, Longborough Festival Opera and for the Royal Opera at the Linbury Theatre. In concert he has appeared with orchestras including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, RTE Concert Orchestra, Orchester Musikkollegium Winterthur and at the St Endellion Festival.
A passionate and adept proponent of Italian opera, he is also one of the most versatile conductors of his generation, with repertoire ranging from Bach to contemporary music. Upcoming highlights include The Magic Flute for Welsh National Opera, Don Giovanni for Longborough Festival Opera, a re-invitation to conduct for the Glyndebourne Tour, and concerts with the Coro and Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo.
