“Fresh, fizzy and vibrant” - Tobias Ringborg’s conducting makes Elixir of Love bubble with life

In his return to Opera North, Swedish conductor Tobias Ringborg impresses yet again with precision, control, and his agile and vibrant interpretations.
He previously conducted Opera North’s Don Giovanni and Macbeth to critical acclaim.


Tobias Ringborg’s conducting is fresh, fizzy and vibrant enough to suggest that those Vespas still have plenty of miles on the clock yet.
