Bass-baritone Brandon Cedel returns to the Atlanta Opera this week, in the title role of Stephen Lawless' production of Le nozze di Figaro.
Figaro is one of Brandon’s signature roles, one he has performed recently at the Glyndebourne Festival, the Stadstheater Stuttgart and Opera Philadelphia.
Brandon has previously appeared in Atlanta in the title role of Don Giovanni. Other roles in his 2025/26 season include a return to the Metropolitan Opera as Masetto in Don Giovanni and his debut for the Houston Grand Opera as Father Palmer in a new production of Kevin Puts’ Silent Night.
