Tom Fetherstonhaugh has been selected by the BBC Proms as one of its “Ten artists aged 30 and under” for the 2026 season, recognising the brightest rising stars appearing at the Royal Albert Hall this summer.
As part of this spotlight, Tom returns to the Proms with Fantasia Orchestra, the ensemble he founded and directs, for two concerts: the Relaxed Prom on 9 August and Evelyn Glennie and the Fantasia Orchestra on 11 August.
Tom last appeared at the BBC Proms in 2024, when he conducted Fantasia Orchestra in a special concert of folk songs and dances with brothers Braimah and Sheku Kanneh-Mason. His 2026 return marks a further milestone for both Tom and Fantasia Orchestra, with the BBC Proms choosing them once again for one of the world’s most prestigious classical music stages.
