We are delighted to announce conductor Benjamin Bayl has joined our roster for General Management.
Bayl is widely recognised for his historically informed approach to baroque, classical and romantic repertoire, and his remarkable versatility has seen him conduct major orchestras and opera productions across Europe, the Far East and Australasia.
In reviewing his performance of Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 The Times said "Bayl conducts the orchestra to a thrilling and at times breathtaking reading, with an irresistible arc that is maintained for the entire duration of the evening"
An exciting 26/27 and beyond includes performances of Handel's Flavio at Theater and der Wien, Les pêcheurs de perles by Bizet for New Zealand Opera, Radamisto (Handel) in Vienna and Wrocław, and concerts with Szczecin Philharmonic, Orchestre National d'Île-de-France and Hungarian State Opera. Further ahead he conducts a tour of Messiah with Collegium Vocale Gent and the Finnish Baroque Orchestra.
Benjamin is managed worldwide by Ralph Blackbourn
