We are thrilled to announce that stage director Max Webster has joined Rayfield Allied, who will represent him for opera worldwide.
One of the most exciting directors working in British theatre today, Max’s award-winning work has been seen across the West End, Broadway and internationally, including Life of Pi (winning five Olivier Awards and three Tony Awards), Henry V (starring Kit Harrington) and The Importance of Being Earnest (starring Stephen Fry).
Opera has been part of Max’s career from the beginning and is now an increasing focus of his international work. Following his acclaimed Eugene Onegin at The Grange Festival this summer, he makes his Glyndebourne debut in 2027 with a new production of La Cenerentola. He has also previously directed the ENO's production of The Merry Widow in 2019.
