Irish baritone Seán Boylan is a recent graduate of the Opera Course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where he studied with Robert Dean. As a member of the Alvarez Young Artist Programme at Garsington Opera in 2019 he covered the title role of Don Giovanni, for which he was awarded the Helen Clark Award by Garsington Opera.
In the 2019-20 season he makes his role debut in the title role of Don Giovanni (Nevill Holt Opera, directed by Jack Furness). He also covers the roles of Pluto and Aristaeus Orpheus in the Underworld (English National Opera) and Demetrius A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Scottish Opera).
