Our Artist in Focus this week is tenor, Nicholas Mulroy!
Nicholas is renowned for his performances of Baroque repertoire and has sung Evangelist in Bach's Passions worldwide.

Nicholas is also Associate Director of the Dunedin Consort, is a Visiting Professor at the Royal Academy of Music, and a Musician in Residence at Girton College, Cambridge.
Artist in Focus Nicholas Mulroy has a 20-year long association with the Dunedin Consort and was appointed to be their Associate Director in 2020. As well as conducting projects throughout the year, Nicholas sings with Dunedin Consort and appears on many of their major recordings.

Nicholas formed the Cubaroque alongside Toby Carr and Elizabeth Kenny. Cubaroque explores music from two golden ages, 17th century Europe and Latin America in the 20th century in songs of love, sorrow, politics and religion which speak across the centuries.

Next passion season will see Nicholas Mulroy perform Evangelist in Bach’s St Matthew Passion on tour with the Netherlands Bach Society conducted by Masaaki Suzuki. This tour see them perform in 9 venues across the Netherlands.
