Scottish Opera have announced their 2026/2027 season featuring Rayfield Allied artists in exciting productions
Scottish Opera Musical Director Stuart Stratford conducts the world premiere of Missy Mazzoli's The Galloping Cure at the Edinburgh International Festival featuring Lea Shaw as Erin on 9, 11, and 12 August.
Stratford also conducts a new production of Turandot by world-renowned Scottish director David McVicar, opening on 22 October.
Madeline Boreham makes her house and role debut as the title role in Handel's Alcina directed by Olivia Fuchs. Performances from 6 February.
Julia Sporsén returns to Scottish Opera to sing the role of Leonore in Fidelio. Performances from 17 February.
Stuart Stratford conducts Daisy Evans' production of Madama Butterfly featuring Phillip Rhodes as Sharpless and Lea Shaw in her role debut as Suzuki. Performances from 1 May.
