Gramophone Awards shortlist announced

The Gramophone Awards shortlist has been announced and we are very proud of the impressive list of artists from Rayfield Allied whose remarkable contributions to recording classical music have been recognised. Amongst the nominations are the following artists:

ARTIST OF THE YEAR:
Mahan Esfahani

BAROQUE INSTRUMANTAL:
Mahan Esfahani (harpsichord) - CPE Bach Württemberg Sonatas;

CHAMBER:
Robert Levin (pianoforte) - Beethoven Cello Sonatas with Steven Isserlis;

CHORAL:
Rowan Hellier (mezzo-soprano) and Matthew Brook (bass-baritone) - Mozart Requiem with the Dunedin Consort;

CONTEMPORARY:
Harrison Birtwistle (composer) and Nicholas Kok (conductor) - Birtwistle Moth Requiem;

OPERA:
Gaynor Keeble (mezzo-soprano) - Auntie in Aldeburgh’s groundbreaking film of Grimes on the Beach.
