The BBC Proms 2013 season is now underway with many Rayfield Allied artists in this year’s line up.
In July, Peter Bronder performs in Das Rheingold and Siegfried as Mime under Daniel Barenboim with the Staatskapelle Berlin (Prom 14 and Prom 18). Terje Stensvold also stars in Siegfried (Prom 18) as the Wanderer. David Wilson-Johnson performs Melot in Tristan and Isolde (Prom 19) with the BBC Symphony Orchestra under Semyon Bychkov.
In August, Louis Lortie plays Lutosławski Piano Concerto with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Edward Gardner (Prom 32). Nicholas Mulroy and Peter Harvey sing Bach’s Easter and Ascension Oratorios with Sir John Eliot Gardiner and the Monteverdi Choir and Orchestra (Prom 36). Nicholas Kok conducts the UK premiere of Sir Harrison Birtwistle’s Moth Requiem with the BBC Singers and the Nash Ensemble as part of the Proms Chamber Music series (No. 5). David Wilson-Johnson sings King Fisher in Tippett’s The Midsummer Marriage (Prom 45).
In September, as part of the Last Night of the Proms, Kate Valentine performs at the Proms in the Park in Glasgow to conclude this year’s season.
