Matthew Brook debuts as Seneca in Florence

This month Matthew Brook makes important role and house debuts when he sings Seneca in Pier Luigi Pizzi’s production of L’incoronazione di Poppea, conducting by leading Monteverdi specialist Alan Curtis, as part of the 74th Festival del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. The international cast boasts Susan Graham in the title role and Jeremy Ovenden as Nerone.
