The Edinburgh International Festival 2018 programme stars three Rayfield Allied artists.
Matthew Brook is delighted to perform at the International Festival, for which he previously received praise from The Times – “A deeply humane and tender contribution from the baritone Matthew Brook”. This year he takes to the stage with the Dunedin Consort to perform in Handel’s Samson on 13 August.
On 15 August BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2017 winner Catriona Morison returns to her native Edinburgh to sing a recital accompanied by Simon Lepper including music by Brahms, Schumann, Mahler and Korngold.
Robert Levin is reinvited to the International Festival with an all-Mozart fortepiano programme on 16 August. His recitals are a shining example of period performance and are deeply engaging to hear and watch. Robert Levin modulates from one Sonata to the next in a specially crafted programme. He will perform on a Paul McNulty Walter fortepiano.
