Stuart Stratford makes his Wagnerian debut with Tristan und Isolde for Scottish Opera

Scottish Opera presents Tristan und Isolde in concert this March, with Stuart Stratford conducting Wagner for the first time.

He is joined by Gwyn Hughes Jones in the title role of Tristan and Dingle Yandell as King Marke. This concert staging places the focus firmly on Wagner’s richly textured score and the emotional breadth of the drama, offering audiences the opportunity to experience one of the composer’s most significant works in a concentrated musical setting.
